Lexington vs. Irmo vs. Chapin
Lexington, Irmo, and Chapin are different weeks. Pick the town that matches how you live, then look at streets.
Lexington is a town you can run errands in. Columbia Avenue, people you know, and Lake Murray close if you want it. Many addresses sit in Lexington County School District One. Read more on the Lexington neighborhood page.
Irmo puts Columbia and the lake both in reach. The streets often feel established. Lexington-Richland School District Five is the district name you will hear. County lines can split, so the pin on the house matters. Start with Irmo.
Chapin is a smaller town where the lake is part of the story. District Five still needs an address check. Chapin is the next read, along with the Lake Murray overview.
Drive them. If you are relocating, the relocating guide is the longer version.
