Towns around Lexington and Lake Murray
These are towns I know. Pick one and I'll tell you how it lives.
Lexington
Lexington is a town with streets you can use on a Tuesday and Lake Murray a short drive away. I grew up here. School district depends on the house. We confirm the address.
Irmo
Irmo puts Columbia close enough for work and Lake Murray close enough for a weekend. You do not need a dock in the backyard. Confirm county, taxes, and the school assignment on the house.
Chapin
Chapin is a smaller town where Lake Murray is part of daily life. Columbia is still reachable. Waterfront, lake view, and water-access all show up here, and they are not the same thing.
Gilbert
Gilbert is for people who want more room in Lexington County. You will hear about land, outbuildings, and quieter nights. Lake Murray is still in reach. Gilbert is allowed to be its own place.
West Columbia
West Columbia puts Columbia close enough to treat it like a neighborhood, not a trip. The Congaree, the Vista, and everyday Lexington County services can share one week.
Batesburg-Leesville
Batesburg-Leesville is a slower main-street pace west of Lexington, with space and a school district you can name. Lake Murray is a drive, not the front yard, unless you specifically hunt the water.
Columbia
Columbia is in-town streets, universities, and the river. I still work those moves. Lexington and Columbia are different places.
Lake Murray
Waterfront, lake view, and water-access are different. Tell me which one you mean before we tour.
