Waterfront, water-access, and lake view are different. A listing photo can hide that. Tell me which one you need before we tour.
A waterfront lot touches the water. What you can do at the shoreline depends on the lot, any HOA, and county rules. I'll help you collect the questions. Dock rights belong with documents and an attorney.
Water-access is a shared ramp or community dock, not your own shoreline. Hammock Bay and other planned communities come up in that conversation. Access can be great. It is still not a private pier in the backyard.
Lake view means you can see the water. The lot does not touch it. Trees leaf out. Neighbors build. Walk the lot at the time of day you will actually live there.
