What is waterfront on Lake Murray?
The lot touches the water. You are buying shoreline as a fact of the lot. What you may build or keep at the water, including any dock, is not implied by the word waterfront. Confirm with the survey, HOA, and county. I don't give legal advice on docks.
What is lake view?
You can see the water. The lot does not touch it. Trees leaf. Neighbors improve. A winter view can shrink. Walk it at the hour you will actually live there.
What is water-access?
A shared ramp or community dock, not your own shoreline. Your house may sit well back from the water. Access can be excellent and still not be frontage. Read the recorded documents.
Why do listing photos confuse these?
Listing photos can make a peek through trees look like a private cove. Ask what you are standing on, not what the sky is doing in the photo.
How should buyers use community names?
Kingston Harbour, Spence Plantation, Cherokee Shores, Pilgrim Point, Turners Pointe, Hammock Bay, and Settlers Point are useful vocabulary. They are not proof of frontage. Confirm what the lot actually includes.

Not usually. Frontage is about the lot. Do not buy a view with a plan to invent shoreline rights. Ask documents and advisors.
Is water-access the same as lake view?
No. Access is about getting a boat or your feet to the water through a shared amenity. View is about what you see from the house or yard.
